On November 19. 2015, the RCRA board established the a new committee that will be charged with providing expertise in youth sports and sports complexes combined with input from the community to assist with the design for the Field of Dreams youth sports complex project. This committee will work closely with the selected engineer and the City. By a unanimous vote, the following individuals were appointed to the new committee: 
- Curt Penny – Representing Three Rivers Little League and Park Township Resident
- Doug Humbert – Representing AYSO 1197 and Park Township Resident
- Mike Charvat – Representing TR Rocket Football and Lockport Township Resident
- Lindsay Oswald – Representing AYSO 1197 and Lockport Township Resident
- Pat Dane – Representing the Meadows Condominiums and City Resident
- Shawn Heivlin – Representing TR Rocket Football and Fabius Township Resident
- The Beuter Family – Donor
